WHAT TO
EXPECT
The process of chiropractic care is similar to the process of constructing a house – certain steps must be completed in a certain order for everything to be stable and strong.
The walls of a house would be weak and eventually collapse if you tried constructing them before you had a strong foundation. Similar problems would occur if you tried to put up your roof before the walls were complete.
The same applies to your body. For your body to repair itself correctly and fully, you have to follow a specific plan of care.
Chiropractic care generally falls into three phases: Relief Care, Correction, and Wellness Care.
PHASE 1:
RELIEF CARE
When you come into our office with pain, our first priority is to make you feel better as quickly as possible. The typical timeline for your treatment will be 2-3 times per week for a period of 2-3 months, depending on the severity of your problem.
PHASE 2:
CORRECTION
As part of the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are given the ability to heal more completely, which will help prevent further injuries. Depending on your overall health and the severity of your condition, it is typical to need care 4-8 times a month for a period of 4 months.
PHASE 3:
WELLNESS
To avoid future problems, it is important to schedule regular adjustments after your body has fully healed. Chiropractic care usually only requires quick visits once to four times per month, depending on your lifestyle and goals.
Conditions
Treated
Patients often suffer from a wide range of pain and discomfort caused by various conditions. These are only a few of the conditions we help patients manage. A thorough analysis allows us to treat the root cause of your condition rather than just alleviating the symptoms.
