DAY 3
TREATMENT
Day 3 is when healing begins. You will have your second adjustment this day, and Doctor Crowley may adjust other areas of your spine.
While most experience immediate relief during this time, everybody’s natural response varies. After your first adjustment, you may experience some soreness as your atlas bone wants to return to the misaligned position it’s been in for so long; we explain this part like braces.
When wearing braces, one understands it will take time for the teeth to be where they’re supposed to be. The same concept is with chiropractic care. Your bones have been in the incorrect position for so long, and they want to return to the spot that is causing you your symptoms.
This is why sticking to the recommended schedule is so vital; for your body to heal the way you deserve, you need regular atlas adjustments. After your second adjustment, you will be given our new patient bag with more information on our clinic, a cervical collar to wear after your adjustments and more.
